Confidentiality & responsibilities

  • The Client will remain the legal owner and hold all intellectual copyrights for any work undertaken by Timberland Virtual Office Solutions on their behalf.
  • Any images or logos supplied by the Client will remain their responsibility in respect of obtaining rights for use.
  • Timberland Virtual Office Solutions confirms that the business or any matters relating to the business of the Client shall remain confidential and not disclosed to any third party.

My pledge

  • To maintain the utmost level of confidentiality for all matters relating to the Client’s business.
  • To undertake all work on behalf of the Client to the best of my ability and to always represent their business in a professional manner.
  • To maintain and improve my professional skills by continuing professional development.
  • To ensure all personal data is kept safe and stored with encryption and only used for the purpose intended.
  • To ensure that Timberland Virtual Office Solutions is covered by an appropriate level of professional indemnity.

GDPR

  • Although every step is taken to keep data secure in line with guidance provided by the ICO, unfortunately no system is 100% safe and I am unable to guarantee immunity from hackers.

Payment

  • Final proof reading of all work supplied is the responsibility of the Client.
  • Any errors must be reported within five working days. Any errors by Timberland Virtual Office Solutions will be amended without charge. Any amendments by the Client will be charged at the normal hourly rate. 
  • All work is invoiced either on completion or on a monthly basis, dependant on prior agreement with the Client.
  • There is no minimum fee charged, all work is invoiced in minutes used at the agreed hourly rate.
  • Invoices are to be paid by bank transfer strictly within thirty days and any unpaid bills will incur interest as per Government guidelines.
  • Timesheets will be provided with each invoice sent.
  • Under the terms of the Data Protection Act/GDPR, Timberland Virtual Office Solutions and the Client may keep on file any information such as contact details as is deemed necessary. Either party is entitled to request a copy of their records to ensure they remain relevant, correct and current.
  • Timberland Virtual Office Solutions and the Client have the right to terminate a contract if there is a breach of its terms.
